Migration FAQ

Will we lose completion history and certification records?

No. We migrate all completion records, certification status, and historical data. Learners retain their progress and certificates.

Can learners access training during migration?

Yes. We run both systems in parallel during pilot phase. Learners can access the old LMS while we validate the new one.

What content formats can you migrate?

We support SCORM 1.2/2004, xAPI (Tin Can), video (MP4, streaming), documents (PDF, Word, PowerPoint), HTML5, and most proprietary formats with conversion.

How do you handle custom integrations?

We assess your current integrations (SSO, HRIS, APIs) and rebuild them in SKILL55. Standard integrations (Azure AD, LDAP) are straightforward. Custom APIs require scoping.

What if we need to go back to our old LMS?

We maintain a rollback plan. If critical issues arise during pilot, we can revert to your legacy LMS while we resolve them. No data is lost.

Do you provide training for our admin team?

Yes. Admin training is included in migration. We train your team on content management, user administration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
